Made to Make: Craftsman Rebuilding Homes

The Craftsman brand was made to make. Sears, Craftsman, and the Craftsman Club are uniting to make a difference for families, military veterans, and local community restoration projects. The Craftsman Make A Difference tour, which began April 27, is dedicated in aiding those who need a home or a more appropriately built home. Volunteers and attendees can learn about Craftsman’s power tools, hand tools, garage, storage, lawn, and gardening equipment. There will also be demonstrations, testimonials, and giveaways for the public.

The tour’s first stop will be at Moonachie, New Jersey, on National Rebuilding Day, “Make a Difference” partners will help restore a U.S. veteran’s home that was affected by Superstorm Sandy. Ty Pennington, DIY expert and TV personality, will lead volunteers to help officially kick off the tour. “It is so important to give back, and I have been fortunate to be part of some truly heartwarming home renovations throughout my career,” said Pennington. “I’m excited and proud to be part of the Craftsman ‘Make a Difference’ Tour because, with the help of volunteers from Heroes at Home and Rebuilding Together, we’ll make a positive impact in the lives of those in need.”
